Building of the Year 2018
IPS BULGARIA was awarded with the prestigious recognition “Building of the Year 2018” in the category Industrial Building for the architecture and design engineering of Multivac Production Plant in Bozhurishte Industrial Zone near Sofia city.

IPS performed a full EPCM mission – Detailed Design Engineering and Project Management Services. The Design included all parts as follows:
Building of the Year is the biggest national contest in the field of investment projects, construction and architecture and distinguishes the best achievements in the respective year, established 16 years ago. The expert jury was headed by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works. For all industrial developments there is only one award which distinguishes both the aesthetics and the contemporary technology implemented in the production facility.
The complex of MULTIVAC was built in Industrial Zone - Bozhurishte near Sofia on a total area of over 20 000 square meters and the built-up area is about 7 000 square meters, including production hall, warehouse and logistics bay, a sophisticated showroom, offices and a social building with canteen and accommodation floor. State-of-the-art facilities for the extra introduction of natural light were installed in the production hall, providing greater comfort for people at work. The technological equipment consisting of CNC cutting machines and Teflon coating in the factory is as well the most innovative nowadays and is delivered by leading global manufacturers. It produces parts and modules for MULTIVAC packaging machines. Currently more than 140 professionals in the field of metal milling and turning, mechatronics, industrial management as well IT work at the factory.
