Revamp of Blast Furnace

Although the blast furnace shutdown was initially schedule for the 3rd quarter of 2007, the improvement finally took place several months in advance due to the critical conditions of the hearth.
Main works:
- New skip bridge + winch and bell-less top improvement
- Mechanical revamping of the main blowing machine
- Cold repairing of the blast stoves and complete new checker and bottom grills for cowper
- New hearth
- Complete new runners and improvement of the cast hall dedusting installation
- Revamp of the dust catcher, new cyclone and new ring spalt element in the dust washer.

- Automation: new supervision system
